Mr Michael Duignan is a member of the 宅男视频 (SFC). He is also an Executive Director with responsibility for the Enforcement Division, which upholds the integrity of the Hong Kong securities and futures markets by deterring unlawful activities or market misconduct through effective surveillance and enforcement. Before taking on the current role, Mr Duignan was the Executive Director of Corporate Finance for the three years since 1 November 2022.
Mr Duignan has extensive experience in financial regulation. He joined the SFC in 2014 initially in the Corporate Finance Division before moving to the Enforcement Division as Senior Director of its Market Misconduct Team. Prior to joining the SFC, he was Director of 宅男视频 and Markets Supervision at the Malta Financial Services Authority. Before that, he was Head of Market Supervision at the Irish Stock Exchange, after working at the UK Financial Services Authority.
Mr Duignan sits on the SFC’s Executive Committee and SFC (HKEC Listing) Committee.
